Marlin and Jaran respond to several comments from audience members:
Comment 1: How much “works” is necessary to reach the threshold to be considered saved
Comment 2: Tyler McDonough: “What about the case of carnal Christian’s like they talk about in the New Testament? If all have come short of the glory of God where’s the line we need to be at to be worthy of heaven?”
Comment 3: No, we can not sin and be saved at the same time. The loving and faithful relationship with God is broken at the moment we sin. We are children of God as long as we obey Him and love Him, and not even in rebellion (sin is rebellion and also that is not loving God, because loving God is keeping His commandments , 1John 5 ). Sin leads to the lake of fire according to the Bible, no matter if we previously obeyed the Lord. Those who commit sin are not saved (1 John 3) (Rev. 21:8) (John 8:34) (Rom 6.) (etc….) (etc…..) . The day a Christian commits sin his heart and spiritual identity changed also, and is no longer a Christian (a follower of Christ). He must repent and convert to God again in order to be saved again. We must obey, love, believe in God in order to enter into His paradise kingdom.
