John Ghanim was born and raised in Yemen, in a conservative Muslim family and community. While on his pilgrimage to Mecca, John began to have doubts about Islam. Afraid of what his family would think, he kept those doubts secret, but he was convinced that Islam is not real. John fled the war in Yemen to a refugee camp in Europe, where he met Christians for the first time. John came to Christ, and he shares that story in this episode.

I am John Ghanim, a Yemeni ex-Muslim whose life was radically transformed when I encountered Yeshua The Messiah at the end of 2017. Once bound by tradition and lost in darkness, I am now a passionate evangelist for Jesus Christ, boldly proclaiming the Gospel to the nations. I have faced persecution, threats, and the loss of my family, home, and safety—yet I stand unshaken. My life is a living testimony of God’s grace and power, and my mission as an evangelist is to inspire believers everywhere to stand strong, live boldly, and be unashamed of Christ—no matter the cost.
