Years ago John taught the book of Luke in a high school classroom. This launched his journey of faith into what he terms “voluntary poverty,” or non-accumulation of wealth. In this episode, José Sanchez shares his journey of coming to Christ. When José and his family moved to Los Angeles, they moved into the same community that Ernest Witmer and his family lived in. As they learned to know the Witmers, José and his family started attending, and eventually joined, the Witmer's church. José is now a pastor there.
